Description


Overview

Defence Standard cables were initially manufactured for military use to Defence Standard 61/12 Part 4 and 5. However, they are now more commonly used for industrial applications such as aircraft, computers and data processors. The cable can withstand contamination of fuel and mineral based fluids.

    Part 5 for 16/0.2 conductors)

Construction

Conductors: Tinned Annealed Flexible Copper
Insulation: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
Binding: Non-hygroscopic binder tape
Screen: Tinned annealed copper wire braid
Sheath: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
Colour: Black

Characteristics

Voltage Rating: 440 volts
Temperature limits: -55°C to +70°C
Minimum Bending Radius: As Per Manufacturers Datasheet

Should not be installed at temperatures below 0°C
